The other day we ate venison, salami and medallions. We tried the prosciutto of bear, deer and wild boar. The chef suggested a red wine from Vipava Kosovel wine from Crnice. Is red wine blend of melot 80% and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Wine is very fresh, very fruity flavor and gives you the feeling that eating grapes. Fits to the dried meat products, sausages, prosciutto , pasta and aged cheese. Year: 2010. Dry wine. ALC: 12%. Cheers.
